Meet your new over-sized comfy, everyday handbag! This handbag features a classic and sophisticated design, ideal for everyday use or workwear. It is crafted from a textured faux leather material in a warm, golden crosshatch faux leather, with a subtle crosshatch pattern that adds depth and durability to the rich look, adorned with light gold hardware. I do NOT have any more of the gold crosshatch, so you will need to select a different color of faux leather on the exterior, and/or different colored hardware if you don't want this bag.
As you can see here in the video, this bag is pretty large, and can be carried as a shoulder, arm, or cross-body with the detachable, adjustable crossbody strap. The bag also looks pretty sturdy, it's actually filled with paper in the video, and really is a semi-slouchy handbag with a high end look. It has beautiful decorative straps and the hardware that adorns the front and back are timeless. This baby is a piece of work! When you add up the exterior material, lining, interfacing, hardware (buckles, rings, D-rings, zippers, rivets or snaps), purse feet (optional), and significant structural work — not including cutting and prepping the fabric.
It has two magnetic snaps at the top, There is a large zippered pocket and a slip pocket on the interior, but you can have both or none . . . if you want me to make a custom bag for you ... your choice! It measures 12" wide, 10" tall (excluding the handles), and is about 6" at the base, or it can be smaller or larger if that is your wish.
All handbags are made to order by me, a labor of love, and takes 2-4 weeks from the start of design until completion/shipping.. The time it takes is dependent on what I am in the process of working on, and what materials might need to be ordered for your bag.

You will be carrying a bag that is unique to you, a representation of what you like and what style you want to portray. I take careful time creating and ensuring every aspect of the bag (from cutting the fabrics, assembling and sewing every piece, paying close to the details of the stitches, the design and components). Choose finishes such as gunmetal or chrome, or how about rose gold? Every bag is made with love and to be unique to you. Like everything I make, I do not skimp on the materials and try to choose the best materials for each handbag/project.
THE PROCESS: If you want a custom bag, I will email you or text you, whichever you choose, and we will discuss your choices.
NOTE: I cannot start working on your bag if you don’t respond to my email or text. Your bag will be put on hold if I do not hear back from you.

Meet the Maker
All items are designed and created with love in my workroom at my home in Florida. I use top-quality materials, which is very important to me, and I put my heart into everything I make. Quality products and workmanship is something my customers have always appreciated. I have made and sold many items through the years, and I have customers who return again and again, which I am so proud of.
While I love embroidery, especially creating custom gifts for dogs and kids, I really love making handbags. There is something abut working with leather/faux, metals, hammers and rivets that jazz me up! I think I might have been a furniture maker in a previous life. ;)

How it’s Made
I hand make every handbag from beginning to the end, and I use a mix of cottons, faux leather, vinyl, faux croc, tex70 thread, a semi-industrial sewing machine ... and many tools like hammers, hole punchers, a rivet setter, a heat gun, irons of different sizes including a heat press. I am a stickler for detail and proud to create items that are just for you.
Shop Policies
SHIPPING:
Please read each listing carefully so you know how long it will take for your item to be made. Some items are ready to ship, but others take weeks to make. Items are shipped via USPS, and you can choose which way you prefer to have the item(s) shipped through them. Items shipped USPS Priority and USPS Ground Advantage, which both will have tracking. Small items such as dish towels can be sent via First Class Mail, which comes with no tracking. I'm sorry, but we do not ship internationally.
We are not responsible for packages that are not delivered, delivered to the wrong address or stolen from the buyers property. Should any of those occur, it is the responsibility of the buyer to work it out with the post office. Customers will not receive a refund or replaced packages in those instances, because once we take an order to the post office it is out of our control.
Sellers are getting messages almost daily from buyers who are mad because the shipping email tell they received says that their order was delivered, and yet they didn't get it. I promise you that when this has happened to my customers, 100% of those orders have shown up within 3 days. That is 100%. Please be patient and understand that once I drop your order at the post office and you know that because you get an email saying it has been shipped, it is then out of my control.
DAMAGES:
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at julee_e@icloud.com if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please be prepared to send photos so I can see what the problem is. I cannot help you just based off of a conversation. I will have to see photos, or even better, a video.

CANCELLATIONS:
We accept order cancellations BEFORE 4 hours. The buyer is responsible for making requests within this timeframe. I have this policy in place because once you place an order, I might begin the planning/purchasing phase that day, and I do not want to buy materials, fabrics and hardware if someone changes their mind later.
PRIVACY POLICY:
We will never sell or share your contact information with anyone. We hate spam as much as you do. Maybe more.
If I contact you, it will be because of an order you have placed, or if I am running a special I think you might be interested in.
We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.
RETURN POLICY:
Handbags are sold as described, so it is up to the buyer to pay attention to all details in each product listing. There is no return on custom handbags, as they are sold as described/ordered. If your bag has a construction failure with 30 days of receipt, I will correct, fix, or replace your bag for free (client is responsible for shipping to me, I will cover shipping of repaired or replacement item to client). Examples of construction failures include, but are not limited to, zipper teeth failures, seams unraveling, and popping rivets. Construction failures do NOT include abrasions, tears not on a seam, stains, or zipper pull failures, as these are signs of use and not the fault of the maker. If you encounter a construction failure more than 30 days after receipt or through normal usage, please contact me to see if it still might be reparable for a small fee. The sooner you contact me, the more likely it is that I have that fabric available for a repair. Please understand that most handbags are not made to carry your phone, a wallet and 14 bricks. ;)

All embroidery items are made to order (with a few exceptions) and the sales are final, unless there was an error that I made in the spelling of a name on an item. Sale, custom, or made to order items may not be exchanged or returned. All sales are final for these items. Non-personalized hand towels can be returned by emailing me at julee_e@icloud.com within 48 hours of receiving your purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging -- and it must be returned to me within thirty days. Once I approve the return, it is the customer's responsibility to pay for the return shipping, and once I get the return in its original condition, I will refund the product price back to the same method you used for payment.
FAQ: The Post Office says they delivered my package, but I never got it?
A lot of times you will find that it was brought in the house by someone else ... or as of late, the post office is running a few days behind, and when they say it's been delivered, it will show up a few days later. But, if you want to file a claim with the USPS, here is the link to do so. https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm In my own experience, I find it much easier to swing by my local post office and have them help me.
FAQ: What happens if I accidently entered the wrong address when I placed my order?
If you realize there is a problem with your address, please contact me as soon as possible, and I will do my best to update the address if possible. If you made an error in entering your address, and did not notify me, I will need to send you an invoice to cover the complete cost of re-shipping your order *once it has been returned to me. The exception to this is if I never receive the item from the post office, in which we will not be able to re-ship your order to you. The simplest solution to this problem is to carefully enter and review your address as you are placing your order.
FAQ: Why are some similar embroidery items priced higher than others? There doesn't seem to be much difference.
Items are priced based on the cost of materials, how many stitches there are, and how many color changes there are on a design. One dish towel may have 10,000 stitches and only use one color of thread, and another dish towel might have 20,000 stitches and 7 colors of thread. The difference in these 2 scenarios could be more than up to 60 minutes, so they are priced accordingly.
